for a 14 year old, one of your best bets is to start programming games and apps for Facebook or iPhone or Android. People in those places are suckers and they'll pay for anything fun. CSS and JS are your best languages for Facebook, but if you want to do iPhone or Android then you need to learn Objective C, Basic, or some other language that smartphone platforms support. Flash and web scripting languages like JS are too computationally inefficient to make a good mobile phone game.
