Pokemon platinium delema? Restart or Conti?

What should i do if i get pokemon platinum and it is pre-loaded with all of the legendary's from every game and they are all around lv 10? Also, so far in the game, the old pro file has only got 2 gym badges and isnt too far. The game also has 889 rare candies in the pokebag. So my question is should i restart and play the full game, but lose all of the legendarys or keep playing?
